This is an Interview of Burtn a stock provider here on DA.
- How did you find Deviantart?
I found DA by searching for pictures with google picture search.
- What made you start taking photos and making them into stock?
In the first time I was on DA I didn't submit stock images but I got asked by many artists if they could use my pictures. As I really respect any kind of art I gave them all free as stock.
- How long have you been taking photos?
I guess I got my first "real" camera 25 years ago, it was an Olympus OM1.
- Where have your traveled so far?
I'm living where other people spend their holidays so I don't travel a lot. I travelled the countries of the Alps, as well as Ireland and Hungary.
- Any travel plans for the future?
Norway would be fine, Himalaya is a dream as well as the montaneous regions of the United States.
- Can we expect stock from those travels?
Of course you can.- What are your future plans for being a photographer/stock provider?
No plans, just document my hikes.
- Do you have any goals pertaining to your hobby?
Maybe do more commercial work.
- What is your favorite thing about your hobby?
Taking fotos opens your eyes for details that you didn't even notice before. You learn to see the world with other eyes.
- What kind of equipment do you use for your photos?
I'm a collector of camera systems with interesting technical base so many of my pictures were taken with rather old equipment. For my travels and hikes I'm still using the Olympus E-system cause it provides best jpeg- quality. I've no time for raw processing so I really appreciate this.
- Anything else you would like viewers to know?
I'm respecting every kind af art that is done with my stock, from the beginner to the professional, so don't be afraid to show me what you've done with my stocks

- How did you find deviantart?
I used to be on deviantart quite a while ago, I only recently got back into it after I go interested in digital art again.
- What made you start taking photos?
I started taking photos after getting frustrated with never finding the perfect stock I wanted. My first couple of photo adventures were meant to be stock for my digital art projects...then i felt like sharing it after I realized I had hundreds of photos.
- How long have you been taking photos?
I have been taking photos on and off for about 5 years now.

Big Change To Submission Rule
Hey guys! So I just wanted to update everyone on a rule that has, as of today, been changed.
We are now allowing premade and precut images into our group gallery.
HOWEVER, they have their own folders for these certain stocks.
So please be sure that if you are submitting any precut or premade images that they go in THEIR folder.
Here are the new folder titles.
PreCut-Stuctures
PreCut-Objects
PreMade-Backgrounds
PreMade-Objects
Objects can be anything from humans to any sort of animal to candles and buckets.
Stuctures can be anything from buildings to archways, etc.
Background are backgrounds.

1. At what age did you first start graphics?
My name is Alexsandra Khitrova. I live in Moscow, Russia. I`m drawing concept art since january of 2013, but previously I was given academic art training in University named after S. G.Stroganoff and 10-year Art school. I am a product designer by education and a motion designer by profession, so my drawings were all painted for myself. Now I am making concepts for a film whith a team of multipliers and artists and writers and illustration is becoming my main job. I`m always surprized thinking about the speed of getting into profession.
